Engagement Score

This article explains the Engagement score and how it helps users understand their study results.

Note: The engagement Score is obtained by analyzing customers' facial emotions while exposed to the Stimuli. Only Facial Coding tests will have an attention score for the tested Media.

What is an Engagement Score?

A parameter measured on a scale of 0-100 quantifies visual Attention depicted by respondents while exposed to the stimulus. It is typically measured by analyzing Blink rates, head orientation, and Facial Expressions pertaining to Attention.

How is the Engagement Score Calculated?

Entropiktech's proprietary AI models can capture customers' facial expressions and the degree of change in emotions. Engagement is calculated as a factor of emotional change caused by the stimuli.

Sixty-eight landmark positions marked on the face of a participant give information on the customer's various emotions, such as Anger, Fear, Contempt, Sadness, Detached, Surprise, and Happy. The degree of variation caused by the stimuli is calculated by how attentive the participant was to the Stimuli and to what precisely the stimuli brought about emotional reactions in the participants.

This indicates the stimuli's efficacy in engaging the customer to evoke an emotional response.
